Using modeling for
Recognize the behavior:

Carefully holding your phone.
Use the Skill:
Hold your phone the way you want your child to. You can also say out loud what you do to be careful.

Purpose:

Modeling shows your child how to make good choices. If you are careless with things and laugh about it, your child will think it's ok. Instead, model being careful and say out loud what you do to be careful. This teaches your child how to be careful and respectful.
Remember that modeling is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
