Recognize the behavior:
Gets out of chair repeatedly.
Identify what you want to see:
Staying in the chair.
Use the Skill:
Possible praise: “Thank you for staying in your chair!”
Possible negative consequence: losing dessert, or not getting screen time after the meal.

Consistent consequences are only for effective commands. Try to use other skills before a command and consequence. If you give a command, make sure your negative consequences make sense.
Remember that commands and consistent consequences should only be used when your other PC-CARE skills don't work.
