Choices give children a sense of control in situations. After aggression, you can help your child find choices for how to make things better. Aggression often happens when children feel like they don't have control. Choices can help children feel like they have control so they don't become aggressive.
Remember that choices are most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
