Using transitions for
Recognize the behavior:
Gets out of chair repeatedly.
Identify what you want to see:
Staying in the chair.
Use the Skill:
Try using a visual timer, for example an hourglass or clock. Your child can keep track of how much longer they have to stay in their chair.

Purpose:

Transitions help children move from one activity to the next. A visual reminder tells your child that the current activity will end. This makes it easier to keep doing what you're doing.
Remember that transitions are most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
