Rules help children know what they have to do. If your child is often aggressive, you could have a rule about keeping hands, feet, and teeth to self and being gentle with other people. This rule should always be in place and talked about often. Make sure to praise your child for following the rule, and be consistent with the positive and negative consequences.
Remember that rules are most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
