A redo gives children a chance to do something again in a better way. It is often useful when children interrupt adult conversations. Give your child a chance to say "excuse me" or to practice being quiet and waiting. This teaches them how to speak respectfully and how to get the attention they need.
Remember that a redo is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
