If your child dislikes reading, they might need some extra positive time when reading time is over.

Purpose:

Recovery helps you and your child stay calm and build a strong relationship. Some children get overactive when they have to do something they don't like to do. In this case, use recovery after the difficult task to help them feel confident.
Remember that recovery is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
