Modeling shows your child how to make good choices. You might play with with multiple children. In this case, share and take turns with all the children, use gentle hands on the toys, and use kind words. Talk about these behaviors: “I love how we are all taking turns playing with the rocket ship!” You might play with just one child. In this case, you can model with toys: “The monkey is bringing the Lego to the zebra so that the zebra can play too. The monkey and the zebra are doing such a good job sharing!”
Remember that modeling is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
