Using modeling for
Recognize the behavior:
Gets out of chair repeatedly.
Identify what you want to see:
Staying in the chair.
Use the Skill:
Model the behavior you want to see. Stay seated at the table for the whole meal. Try to put your phone away and enjoy time with your family.

Purpose:

Modeling shows your child how to make good choices. Teach your child how to behave at mealtimes by modeling how you do it.
Remember that modeling is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
