Modeling shows your child how to make good choices. Teach your child how to treat other people kindly and respectfully by modeling how you do it. You can also model how you deal with frustration. For example, "It made me scared and angry when that car got in front of us without warning. I'm going to take a deep breath to calm down so I can stay safe as I drive."
Remember that modeling is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
