Teach your young child how to pay attention when reading. Have them on your lap, help them turn pages, and move their finger along with the words as you read them.

Hand-over-hand helps young children learn how to complete a task. You can use it to teach young children how to focus and do things that are difficult.
Remember that hand-over-hand is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
