Using consistent consequences for
Recognize the behavior:
Hits or bites a sibling who took their toy.
Identify what you want to see:
Staying calm and asking for help when the sibling takes the toy.
Use the Skill:
Possible praise: “You are playing so nicely together!”
Possible negative consequence: spending a short amount of time playing alone (3-5 minutes) or losing a reward for that day.

Consistent consequences are only for effective commands. Try to use other skills before a command and consequence. If you give a command, make sure your negative consequences make sense.
Remember that commands and consistent consequences should only be used when your other PC-CARE skills don't work.
