Adjusting the environment makes it easier for children to do what they're supposed to do. You may need to avoid the games and places where your child might pick fights while you are teaching them how to play nicely. Also, it is hard to make good choices when you are hungry, tired, thirsty, stressed, or angry. Try to address these before going to a place where they might pick fights.
Remember that adjusting the environment is most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills.
