Using transitions for

Use the Skill:
Transitions might not be very helpful with this concern. Try other skills like descriptions or when-then statements.

Purpose:

Transitions help children move from one activity to the next. If your child is careless or destroys things when told to clean up, then transitions might help. They could help your child be calmer and better able to clean up without being destructive.
Remember that transitions are most helpful when you also use the other PC-CARE skills
