Welcome to our Lesson on Energizing breath

Why is Energizing Breath Important?

energizing breath for kids

For children, it is easier to learn how to energize their body through activities. Here are some ways you can teach and practice energizing breath.

Lion breath

Sit on your hands and knees like a lion. Take a deep breath in through your nose, Open your mouth as wide as you can, stick out your tongue, and say “ha” as you breathe out.

Dragon breath

Pretend you are a dragon, and your arms are your wings. Breathe in and raise your wings up high. Breathe out fire with a loud “ha” sound and bring your wings down quickly.

Bunny breath

Pretend you are a bunny. Sniff in through your nose quickly 3 times, and try to move your nose like a bunny. Then breathe out slowly through your mouth.

elephant breath

Pretend you are an elephant. Clasp your hands and keep your arms long like a trunk. Stand with your feet wide apart. As you breathe in, lift your trunk to the sky. As you breathe out, bring your trunk between your legs.
